Description: Dixonville is one of the city's oldest African-American Cemeteries. It's purpose is to honor and recognize Salisbury's African-American residents. The cemetery was deeded to the City of Salisbury in 1874, and closed to burials in the 1960s. It has documented over 450 interments.
