Historic Salisbury Trolley Tours
For over 250 years, Salisbury-Rowan County has been welcoming visitors to our communities. Since the formation of the county in 1753, we have hosted the famous and infamous and we love sharing that history and heritage with you.
On Saturdays from April though October, join us for narrated tours of historic Salisbury, North Carolina on a leisurely ride through several National Register Historic Districts to get an "up close and personal" glimpse into our preservation efforts and hear the stories of those who called Salisbury home.
The tour begins and ends at the Salisbury-Rowan County Visitors Information Center located at 204 E Innes Street, Suite 120, Salisbury, NC. Tours times are 11 am and 1 pm each Saturday during the season. Fares are $8 for the narrated tour and $15 for the narrated tour plus admission to the Rowan Museum, Utzman-Chambers House and the Dr. Josephus Hall House. Children under the age of 3 ride free. Tickets are purchased the Visitor Information Center. For group reservations of 8 or more, please call ahead. 800-332-2343.
Historic Salisbury Trolley Rentals
Create an extra special event with a Salisbury Trolley! Trolleys are available for rent the year around for weddings, reunions, special meetings or events of any kind. Custom package tours are available for groups of 10 or more as well. Please contact Melissa Murguz at murguz@visitsalisburync.com for itineraries and pricing.

Next 2 hours - $100. 00 per hour
Next 3 hours - $90.00 per hour
Full 8 hour rental - $725.00
Additional hours after 8 - $90.00 per hour
Minimum Rental is $325.00
Please note that these rates are per Trolley.
There are two Trolleys available. Special discounts for non-profit organizations and trolley donors.
Prices include driver, fuel, unlimited mileage with Rowan County.
Reservations taken up to 1 year in advance (1 week minimum).
