Bernhardt Log Barn

Description: The 150 year old barn is available for weddings, receptions, meetings, family outings, picnics and other formal/informal events. It was donated to the park by Paul and Naomi Bernhardt of Salisbury, NC. It was originally located on their family farm near Gold Hill, NC. The timbers were numbered, then dismantled and moved to the park and reassembled. A two day minimum rental is required for weddings.

Description: The picturesque campus offers a variety of options for meetings, conventions and sporting events. The Tom Smith Auditorium, seating 154, features nearby teaching rooms, which are available for classroom groups of 20 to 50. The campus is also home to Keppel Auditorium, seating 1500, and Hedrick Little Theatre, which seats 250.

China Grove Roller Mill

Description: For over one hundred years, the China Grove Roller Mill was in continuous operation and was a meeting place for the agricultural community surrounding the town of China Grove. Farmers came to sell their grain for flour and corn meal production, to purchase farm necessities, and to socialize. When visitors enter the roller mill, they are transported to an earlier time.

Description: With 26-acres of recreational activities, this is a great place to spend the day with kids! The park has two ball fields, tennis courts, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a game room, two shelters, a children's playground, and a concession stand. It also features an event center with a riding arena and judges tower.

F&M Trolley Barn

Description: The F&M Trolley Barn is nestled in Downtown Salisbury right in the heart of North Carolina. Surrounded by such a historic downtown feel, the F&M Trolley barn fits right in. Here, you will find an amazing event space that can suit any type of event. Weddings, private parties, corporate functions, fundraisers, or even a high school prom can be held at the Trolley Barn. Bookings are managed through Virtual Sounds/Venues Services.

Geneava Olgeby Center

Description: An indoor meeting facility with a full kitchen, the center can host small meetings of 150-200 or small banquets or receptions of 50-100. Outside there is a covered picnic area with grills, a playground, and a baseball field. The center is handicap accessible with four bathrooms, a piano, and a podium.

Gold Hill Amphitheater

Description: The 30×40 covered amphitheater stage with a 65ft concrete basin is ideal for weddings, receptions, church worship services or for small music events that are open to the public free of charge. Music events must be approved by the Historic Foundation’s Board of Directors. No music event requiring the park to be closed to visitors will be allowed nor will any music event be allowed when the Russel-Rufty Shelter is rented for a wedding.

Gold Hill Mines Historic Park

Description: This 70-acre historic theme park is the site of Barnhardt and Randolph Gold Mines, reportedly, the richest mining properties East of the Mississippi. Gold Hill is home of the first gold rush. The park facilities are available for private, formal/informal, banquets, corporate events, educational events, weddings, and more.

Description: Ivan’s Restaurant was founded in 1989. The restaurant’s name comes from the owner's father, Joe Ivan, who loved good food, but hated having to drive an hour to get it. So, they decided to build Ivan’s in their hometown of Salisbury, NC. Their goal is to serve great steaks, seafood, ribs, and chicken with the highest quality, to give the best service possible, and to do it in a very relaxing and casual atmosphere.
