Kannapolis Intimidators vs. Lakewood BlueClaws

The Kannapolis Intimidators will host the Lakewood BlueClaws at 7:05 p.m. In honor of our fans' support, the Intimidators will be giving away memorabilia items throughout the game. Come by the ballpark early and have an opportunity to receive autographs from your favorite Intimidators players. All kids in attendance have the opportunity to run the bases after the game. This Sunday Picnic in the Park day features all-you-can-eat for only $10.

Reserved tickets are $8.00 for adults and $7.00 for children (4-12) and seniors (55+). General admission tickets are $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for children (4-12) and seniors (55+).

Celebrate 100 years of Cheerwine while learning about the historic soda brand that started right here in Rowan County! The exhibit is open Friday - Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

North Carolina Transportation Museum
Details:

"How the West Was Won: Trains and the Transformation of Western NC" tells the story of the coming of the railroads after the Civil War and the impact they had on the life, economy, culture, folklore, music and landscape of the mountains. Using videos, narratives, historic photos and artifacts, visitors can view the history of rail in Western NC and learn about the high drama in construction, the dangers of building a railroad grade and the despair that came with the loss of so many lives on the railroad. The NC Transportation Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday, from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday and closed on Monday.

Salisbury Sculpture Show: Discover What's Inside

The Annual Salisbury Sculpture Show features nineteen sculptures by talented artists. Sculptures may be seen around Downtown Salisbury and at three college campuses – Catawba College, Livingstone College and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
